Cufflink Media and lead shooter Sam spent the last few months preparing a styled shoot to inspire our current and future couples. We had the amazing opportunity to work with some of the best local vendors in the Cleveland market. The venue we chose was Sapphire Creek Winery in Chagrin Falls, OH and the location really fit our style of modern elegance. The rest of the look was completed by a team of people that includes the talented Jen and Kyle over at Jennifer Alexa Events, Megan, owner of Primp Beauty, Jessica, owner of the Veil Society, Grahams Green House, L’nique Linens, and Radiant Bride Bridal Shop. We would also like to give a shout out to our models Matt and Kylee who we have had the pleasure of working with with on commercial work for the healing Dawgs and GV Art and Design.

To create our look, I used a Sony A7iii with a Godox off camera flash system that includes 3 Godox ad200’s and a Godox ad400 pro. The video was shot on the same camera gear we use when filming weddings. 3 Panasonic GH5’s with a moza air 2 gimbal for steady shot. Just like a wedding, my main goal was to make the subjects feel at ease and get the best natural reactions. I usually like to set the couple or in this case, the models into a pose and then start a conversation and see what makes them naturally comfortable.

The most exciting part of our project was getting selected to be a featured shoot in the Today’s Bride Magazine. As one of the biggest and best bridal resource guides in Ohio it was a great honor. When selecting featured photographers for their magazine, one of their main goals is to find people that inspire brides. So many resources online for brides make dream weddings seem unattainable so we made it a necessity that everything we used was reasonable for our market and when a couple looks at our work not only does it represent my work, but they can pick up the phone and talk to any of the small business owners that took part in the shoot.
